1978年我(wo)國恢復研(yan)究生(sheng)招(zhao)生(sheng)制度，我(wo)院即成立了研(yan)究生(sheng)工作小(xiao)組，開始招(zhao)收(shou)碩士(shi)研(yan)究生(sheng)。1981年開始招(zhao)收(shou)博士(shi)研(yan)究生(sheng)。1985年成立北(bei)京有色金屬(shu)研(yan)究總院研(yan)究生(sheng)部。
現有(you)兩(liang)個一級(ji)博(bo)士(shi)、碩(shuo)士(shi)學位授(shou)(shou)權學科(ke)：材料科(ke)學與工(gong)(gong)程(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)、冶(ye)金工(gong)(gong)程(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)，另有(you)分(fen)析化學、礦物加工(gong)(gong)工(gong)(gong)程(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)兩(liang)個碩(shuo)士(shi)學位授(shou)(shou)權點，具有(you)材料科(ke)學與工(gong)(gong)程(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)、冶(ye)金工(gong)(gong)程(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)兩(liang)個博(bo)士(shi)后科(ke)研流動站(zhan)，并(bing)與多家企業聯合建立博(bo)士(shi)后工(gong)(gong)作站(zhan)。
